Welcome to Scripture Praises! Scripture Praises is a ministry with the mission to "Sing To The Nations". Our vision is to give God all Glory and Honor by freely sharing with His people the Scripture Songs, testimonies, stories, dreams, and words of encouragement He gives us.
My name is Julie and I am the originator of Scripture Praises. My husband Jim encouraged me to start writing Scripture Songs around 2001. I had been writing Christian songs with my own lyrics and melodies when Jim suggested I try putting melodies to the Scriptures. Initially, I doubted my ability to do this. However, Jim gave me a scripture passage to add a melody to, and in 10 minutes I had a Scripture Song. I realized then I had a gift from God to add interesting melodies to scriptures. That is where it began and I have been writing melodies to Scriptures since.
When I sing these Scripture Songs they encourage me greatly because they are the true inspired Word of God! It has been my goal since then to share these Scripture Songs with God's people. It was at a Christian University that God gave me the mission statement to "Sing To The Nations". I have shared these songs with my family and friends, at churches, Bible Studies, and nursing homes.
Now is the time to share these Scripture Songs with you. I have many Scripture Songs that I have started and plan on editing them to completion so I can produce, publish, and share with you for your personal and group praise and worship. I will also be sharing testimonies, stories, dreams, and words of encouragement that God has given me.
